Re: Movie Products Commercialization is evil. Take Harry Potter. I like the books. I have nothing against the movie. But when I came home from the holidays, everywhere I turned there were HP figurines and games. Half the stuff my sister got for Christmas was HP-related. There's no escape! Fortunately, Tolkien, with an older, wiser foundation to support it, I think will be able to withstand a bit more before it becomes...tawdry? I dunno. Unfortunately, that probably means they'll feel safer to pile more on... The days are fated to be filled with marvels.
