The Saucepan Man has been trapped in the Barrow!
Pipe

So, Eru needed Morgoth (or one of the other Valar) to turn to evil so that his work could be appreciated.

But then I guess he's probably not so vain as to feel the need to be appreciated.

*Ducks confrontation with Iarwain* I never said that evil was good in the eyes of Eru (or God, for that matter). I am just trying to figure out the implications of what others have said (which is why each of my posts rather irritatingly starts with "So ...").
