I love the whole 'story of Aragorn and Arwen' from the appendix. Call me a hopeless romantic, but I thought that was marvelous. And one of my fave lines is WiseAragorn's comforting reply to Arwen who 'tastes the bitterness of the Gift of Men':
In sorrow we must go, but not in despair.
I try to hold that in mind whenever I feel uneasy at the thought of my own departure.

But enough with the morbid thoughts already! My fave song from LOTR is Frodo's 'Man on the Moon' [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
