Failivrin has just left Hobbiton.
when nobody understands what you are saying.

i have this problem quite regularly. Someone asked me if I liked swords and i launched into a big long explanation about how 'yes i did like swords, but I preferred bows and arrows because i thought they looked more elegant. I am however, in awe of people wh ocan use a sword with skill'. Etc, i finished off with how if i had a sword i would name it Ringil, after Fingolfin's sword which glittered like ice. The only problem was that the person thought i was crazy and had never read LOTR, let alone The Silm. and had no idea who Fingolfin or Ringil were.


Shame on them.
