fear meaning Fea [spirit] = r [plural] it takes intoaccount JRRT's long and serious reservations he had about the idea of elves --> orcs. The idea in general expressed by treebeard is considered to be his opinion and not definitive. anyway it is covered in the thread exhaustively. enjoy,
