Back at the midpoint, somebody suggested having each group follow the same story (with a separate thread for each). This could work; it would allow the players to compare how their own group is progressing to how the others are and give them a chance to see how the creative process works as the groups would probably diverge from each other in time, though they'd still be following the same plot.
