"Perhaps I shall explain the story to you... my name is Nannaliel. I was born to great parents... terrible but great. I never knew my mother. She died when I was only a baby. My father was a fool; but a brave one. He was killed in a most horrible way. This Nahai, her beloved hobbit friend pushed my papa off a rock... he fell into darkness... flames..."

Nannaliel began to cry.
"Outside... is the man... who will help me get my own back... I need to know the origins of this cursed halfling..."

With these words, Nannaliel grabbed a man's ale and gulped it down in one go.
