When Morwyn slipped back into the inn it was just in time to hear Nahai's comment.
Quote:
As she reached the table and sat down she gave an apologetic smile to Sara. "I had forgotten my horse," she explained. Shaking her head and laughing at herself she continued, "he has been my only friend for many months now, and gets somewhat offended if I neglect him too long." Sara smiled at that comment. Morwyn felt as though she had missed something important in the conversation. Before Nahai had a chance to return she asked Sara quickly, "What was said while I was outside?" She traced the wooden grain of the table with her fingertips as she spoke. She felt she had been horribly rude in leaving, but had needed the chance to reflect.
