Frodo Baggins has just left Hobbiton.
Sting

Cromthal, who was naturally shy froze as if chained to where he stood and blushed a very deep red as he realized everyone in the room was staring at him. He only moved when Rirrym led him, with a bit of a shove, away from the scene.

"Well, I guess I made a fool of myself didn't I?" he said to Rirrym. "My master had dogs, but I avoided them. I never have trusted dogs."

He sipped absent-mindedly at his ale as Rirrym ate the food he had ordered. What a fool he was! How had he survived wandering alone for that long he wasn't sure. Of course, the wild between his land and the Shire had been pretty tame. He knoew that if he wanted to go further, he should not go alone, as inexperienced as he was.
