Susan watched Findorfin creeping up on the Wargs, trying to hide his sword. No, no.
She moved around behind the hasty Elf and grabbed him around the shoulders. She covered his mouth with her hand to quiet his startled squack, then dragged him back to the rest of the group. Before she removed her hand, she murmered, "Let them be. They're not harming anyone; they only want to tell a story," into his ear.

She removed her hand, and he turned around to face her. His face was livid. "But what about after? They'll kill us then! If they're even telling the truth."

Susan shook her head and determinedly faced the Wargs. "If that happens, we'll deal with it. Right now, they aren't harming anyone."

Fondorfin just muttered to himself.
