dragoneyes has just left Hobbiton.
Sting

"Did you hear that Hal?" said Gaddy getting over excited as he had a tendancy to do,
"Bullroarer going on a quest and looking for sturdy hobbits like us to come along." He looked meaningfully at Hal.
"No. I am not going, I still have loads of stuff to do for me dad."
"We can still go and see him atleast."
"No! He's got much better things to do than talk to us." but Gaddy dragged him through the crowd by the wrist anyway. They arrived at Bandobras' table, Gaddy stepped forward,
"Er... Mr. Bullroarer? Sir?"
"Yes?"
"Er, I'm erm... well... my name is..." Hal saw his friend in trouble, it always happened when he talked to strangers, he did things before he thought and the words got lost on the way to his mouth. Hal pushed him out of the way and held out a hand,
"I'm Halwon Cotton, me friends call me Hal though, and this is Gaddbard Boffin, who's also known as Gaddy, please excuse him, he does things before he thinks y'see, and he's always gettin' himself in trouble, me too if he as a chance."
"Hal!" said Gaddy, elbowing him in the side and looking embarrassed. Bandobras laughed and took Hal's hand,
"Nice to meet you two." and he took Gaddy's hand and shook it aswell.
