Hreeza could feel the evil wafting out of the tunnel, countering everything she was, and all who had made her. She shuddered. Below, she saw the group preparing themselves, drawing weapons and preparing themselves for battle...

The giant spider attacked the hall, her vicious legs whipping out all around, injuring the shocked and surprised Maia, caught unprepared. Behind her a huge shape loomed, the shape of a valar, but the air around him twisted, corrupted, the dark magics he was summoning shattering the calm of the hall, sending the elementals into disarray...

Hreeza fought of the urge to be sick as she remembered the attack of Melkor and Ungoliant that day, so long ago. To the surprised Valar and Maiar she had been...unstoppable. The evil around her, and around Him had beenmind shattering. And this was Shelob, the spawn of Ungoliant, who they were about to try and fight. She looked down at the children of elves and men, less powerful than any who had been there on that day. And Arawil looked up and caught her eye. The Maia smiled sadly and Hreeza saw something inside her seem to die. She too held the gathered memories of those who had been there.

"We shall fight." She whispered, for Hreezas ears only. Khorbar started to creep forward, oblivious of the memories of the pair, into the tunnel.

"Wait!" Hreeza almost cried out, forcing her voice down so as not to alert the thing inside to their prescence. The ranger looked up, surprised. "Wait. Wait until the spider is asleep. We must catch her offguard...just as she did us..."

The humans and elves were puzzled, but obeyed, seeing the logic, and Hreeza fell once again into memory. It would be more than just Arawils revenge wreaked here...
