Nobody said anything, Lorin wanted to protest but she also saw the truth in Min's words. Even those newest to the group, except perhaps Khôrbar, were sad at the prospect of Min leaving, he had made many friends in just a short amount of time.

Min said his goodbyes to everyone, shaking some hands, pattng others on their shoulders. The children also went around saying farewell in their own fashion. All were trying to be optomistic that they would see each other again, yet no one voiced the fear that they would not. Hreeza flowed around Min and the children, whispering goodbyes in their ears.

Everyone helped the children up onto Min's horse, packed what they would need and took some supplies for their own. Once they were ready, Min finally came to Lorin. They said nothing, then they came together in an embrace. Lorin held back the tears as best she could, she felt like she had known him forever and parting with him was hard.

They broke apart and smiled a little at each other. Everything seemed to be silent as Min led his horse into the forest, soon dissapearing behind the trunks of the trees.

The group broke out from the cover of the forest, onto the open plains. Conversation slowly grew, though Lorin hung at the back, not partaking in any of it.
