Eruwen's heart raced. Finally, some real adventure was coming back. It had been long before she had gotten a chance to use her bow in real combat.

As the group all mounted their horses and made ready for the journey ahead, Eruwen looked at the trees in Mirkwood once more. She loved this forest, yes, but it was time to move on. She knew in her heart she would have to let go of the past and finish out her long life as it should be done.

The company set off later that morning.
