I thought we were getting unceremoniously dumped off around Minas Tirith someplace, so that we could build/ excavate those stinkin' caves and paint on the walls, so they'll be there for you to discover in the (?nth) age.

Gamba has had enough of stinkin' caves and doesn't ever want to see another one. Even a nice hobbit hole probably wouldn't appeal to him very much unless it had BIG windows. Maybe he'll live on a flet.
