Behind the scenes, I've been sent a PM that bids me official welcome on behalf of the rest of the story originators. Publicly my appearance here reminds me of a certain fateful day when there came a tremendous ring on the front-door bell of Bilbo Baggins' Hobbit hole. Perhaps The Powers That Be here at the Lonely Star are now peering round out the windows to see whether an entire troupe of Dwarven story-readers will show up in groups of two and four, to join Bethberry and I in becoming what she would call "pestering voices." Ah, yes, at first Bilbo rather wished to be rid of me when I appeared on his doorstep one morning. * good-natured smile *

With Frodo too, there was something about blowing his door right down his hole and out through the hill if he didn't let me in. So I expect that from humble beginnings, all's well that will end better. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]
