Taralphiel watched as her dagger hit the scaly body of what she now knew was a hideous snake. It's eyes seemed to bore into her, and while her fear made her shake, it's gazed also seemed to harden her resolve. She would not be useless in this fight.

Anarya strung another arrow as Rudchamion motioned for them to hit it in the eyes. As Anarya struck Rudchamion leapt to another branch. The snake lashed out clumsily, but still managed to shake the tree enough to make Rudchamion lose his footing. She cried out as he stumbled. She watched gracefully swing to safety and smiled. Aanrya aimed and put out its first eye then quickly handed her another dagger "This time be more careful before you lose it," She aimed for its other eye and threw. Seeing it hit she breathed relief as the elves finished the foul thing off.

In the fear of the fight, she had still not let go of Khelek. She heard a sudden voice cry out "Please! Let me down!". She let go of the pup in amazement and watched it run to the elves. She stood there watching them, and brooded over what Khelek had 'said' to her. Was she hearing things? She decided she must ask the elves about this. But later, this was not the time...
