After a moment Sauche eased back and let her arm slacken, glancing back at the King she bowed her head slightly. She remained where she was. Then she looked at Legolas, who stood beside her and directly beside his father's throne. "You are a noble man." She said quietly. "Foolish. But noble." She smiled, keeping her eyes locked warily on the agressive prisoner, then she looked towards Legolas. "You will rule well someday."

"If that is my destiny," said Legolas. "But who can say? My father should be king for many an age to come, and my destiny may take me far from here." But his gaze was bent upon the dark elf who had risked his life to protect his father.

Sauche gazed then at the dark elf who had fought the attacker. Such strength and skill! And very handsome. She smiled gently at him, wondering what he could have done to deserve to be held in trial here.
