Wait...so Group C has been in Minas Tirith for a long time? So...of course!! I just got a bright idea, which might be brighter than my original one (which bombed out, of course) So, since Group C has been in Minas Tirith for a while, Group B will know them. So, it will be easy for members of Group C to spread rumors about Group A around, and Group B will believe them. Right? So I can have my cook over hear about what Group C says about Group A, then have my head cook rush off to tell everyone. Could Group C say that they find Group A's claims to be from Dol Amroth faulty since they've never seen them and they would have and etc, etc. And would they say that perhaps the 'poor' Finduilas has been duped by some spies or such since they wouldn't want to try and pin a bad name on a woman of that status and power, perhaps? Hmmmmmm.....?
