the elves (including those taken previously that are still sane) will plan and carry out their escape. We will be able to rescue a couple (maybe two or three) of the originally taken elves.

Just an idea but, maybe we should start a slave rebellion. That would give us a chance to escape, not to mention they're just all round generally fun! Running about, killing taskmasters, burning stuff. Fun fun fun!
