alaklondewen has just left Hobbiton.
Silmaril

"Saucepan, may I call you Saucepan? The honor is all mine," Alaklondewen held her hand out as a lady would. "Thank you," she took a glass of champagne from the waiter. "Would you mind bringing us a bit to eat? I would like some vegetables. What would the rest of you like?" she turned to her friends.

A large Hippo walked up and had a few words with the Saucepan Man. He then took to the dance floor, shaking like no other hippo Alaklondewen had ever seen (not that she'd seen many hippos to begin with).

Menelien, who had been sitting next to her, jumped up suddenly and ran away with as much natural grace as someone can have that has had that much to drink. Alak looked at the others at the table and then back at Menelien, who was climbing a rope. The next thing they knew, she was dangling from a chandelier.

"What in Middle Earth is she doing?" asked Alaklondewen who sat back to see what would happen next.
