Across the room Eruanna could see an Elf waving to her. Recognising her friend Lalaith she made her way over to her.

"Mae Govannen, Lalaith. Are you having a good time? she asked.

"I'm afraid I don't know many people here," the young Elf replied. "I think most of my friends are either asleep or have had too much to drink!"

"Never mind," Eruanna laughed, "perhaps this is only a brief respite. There has certainly been enough drama and excitement so far. Did you see the fireworks?"

With that, the two elves made their way to a table to watch the rest of the proceedings.
