To all the Rangers:

I guess since we are going to be in Rivendell, which has a big part in the history of the dunedain, that the Rangers discuss their lineage. What I mean, if your confused, is that since there are so few of the dunedain, that they would obviously talk to eachother and establish which lineage they are from. For example, my character arlome is from the northern line of the heirs of Isildur. While creating my character, I wanted him to be a ranger, so I found in appendix A in LOTR all the names and the lineage of Isildur and Anarion. If you look in the northern line of the heirs of Isildur under chieftains, which arlome is a part of, the names all begin with a "ar-" or a "ara-". that means like "noble" (I think) in elvish. that is the similarity that I noticed, so thats what I did with arlome.

Anyways, with the others, like Belegond, (Isn't he a ranger from Rohan?), he could be in the southern line of the heirs of Anarion. Belelgond's name is similar to a lot of the ruling stewards so it could be possible that Belegond comes from that line.
just a suggestion

I believe that this would add more depth to the RPG than just "Blah blah blah shot an orc with his arrows, than took out his sword-". do you guys see what I mean? or is this just a dumb suggestion?
