and let Faramir go to the Fellowship. He wouldn't have died, probably, though Merry and Pippin might have.

Merry and Pip wouldn't have died if they were to die to would have been killed after Boromir. Frodo and Sam would've pro'ably left anyway. But the fellowship would be in 3 parts not 4. And not to be off topic. My dream Fellowship would be.

P.S-By 4 parts I mean, Frodo & Sam, The three hunters, Merry Pip and Boromir, the halls of Mandos. I'm just a bit crazy but its not that bad.
