I thought of a few more things I've done, so what could I do but share them with you all? -When you notice little things written in Tengwar (done by other LOTR freaks), and you translate it. Response: "You can read that?!?" (I knew a guy who haad this necklace thingie that he carved elendili into, and so of course when I translate and we start to discuss the two meanings of the word, we get a couple of weird looks, "not agains", and "come ons" from the other people at our play practice). -When you spend half an hour or so figuring out the characteristics of the an thennath poetic form, and write it all out as if doing a poetic analysis, instead of doing your homework (proof that anything is fun as long as it has to do with LOTR: I don't like doing poetic analysis. I liked doing this. Or perhaps it also has something to do with the fact that the only poem in an thennath that I know of is the poem about Luthien in FOTR). There! Were those long enough?
