Still in Bywater. Only 8.75 miles! I managed to make another mile while waiting outside the doctor's office: walking back and forth. Now, hopefully, I'll be able to continue going to Rivendell, whether I walk or bike (aka riding my Shire-pony [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]).

Name... name... Well, if I were an Elf I'd be Nurumaiel, but I'm a Hobbit, so I'd better be Robin Brandybuck.

We haven't even left Bywater yet. Desolating, really, to still be here. Nobody looks forward to walking, because we have to stay on the road. The wilderness has no landmarks (aka pedometers) to tell how many miles we've gone (still desperately searching the stores). Sometimes we walk, sometimes we ride. Gil-Galad is mostly used as our pack pony so we just lead him along behind us, though I did ride him once. Now to pack up and continue to Rivendell! Home is behind, the world ahead...
