How about when you parents call you by your elvish name?

Lucky you... My friend who has the same name as me, Monica, is in 2 of my classes. On my first day of school, in 1st period, my teacher asked me if I had a nickname. At the time, I was busy writing my latest RPG post. So the first thing that came out of my mouth was 'Mae'. In another class I'm known as Luin, another RPG character of mine.

I know I'm obsessed when, if I miss the last half hour of the fellowship, i can play it through in my head later, music and all.

I've done that before!!! I was watching the whole movie in my head during math, when the bell rang. My friend came up to me and told me that class was over. I was like, 'Shut up! I'm watching a movie!' I told I that Gandalf had just said, 'Just tea, thank you.' This got me some very strange looks.
