Well, I'm packing my bags and moving to Rivendell (hehehe, watch out Glorfindel, here comes the scarlet woman herself ). Who made this location finder? Was it you, B-W? Regardless, here's a big kiss, because this is the neatest addition ever! It's the best one I've seen on any site.

Ha, no surprise, I'm going to the Dead Marshes. I wonder why I couldn't get Mordor itself. Oh well, I guess I'll be fine...

I got Rivendell! Glad to be where the party's at! But what's a Nazgul doing at Rivendell? I think you'll have to go in disguise so Elrond and Glorfindel won't open up a can on you! By the way, I tried several different combinations, and I couldn't get Mordor to come up. Is it one of the choices?

To answer Lush's question, "Yes, I made the location finder. I wanted to make something different that I hadn't seen on other sites. I'm glad you like it." Mordor is not a choice, but Barad-dur, Minas Morgul and Mt. Doom are.

I'm going to Lothlorien, but I'm pretty sure they'll be checking my ticket pretty carefully at the door, and seating me in the back of the forest. Celeborn - "There goes the neighborhood!" |

OOPS.... I just noticed I had some flaws in my formulas that caused several results to never show. I recommend trying the Location Finder again.

Shame on you, BW (tsk tsk) I tried it again and really... now I truly feel at home. Mt. Doom with the alternatives of Minas Morgul and Dol Guldur. Now that's more like it.

So far, everyone seems fairly pleased with the results they got from the LOCATION FINDER. How was the accuracy? Do you think it gives accurate locations based on the way you answered the questions?

Rivendell!!! Yahoo! That's pretty cool. My second choices were Ithilien and Mirkwood. Pretty cool!

I did it again.....and I got the exact same locations. And I know for a fact that I entered in slightly different answers...hehe. It seems to be fairly accurate BW. I would love to live in Rivendell...but I'd love live anywhere in ME!

Well, B-W, I tried the test again, just to make sure, and I still got the same answers. Which means, if I ever get bored of Rivendell, I'll take a holiday in Edoras (undoubtedly, Mho & Squatter will be, erm, overjoyed). I think it's a very accurate test. It's also not nearly as confusing and long as most of the other tests out there, while still providing a satisfying result.

Cool test! I am most likely to live in Hobbiton, and the other two possibilites are Bree and Ithilien. I think that this is a very accurate test because Hobbiton and Bree are the two most likely places I'd live, since I love hobbits.

I got Rivendell, and Ithilien and Mirkwood also. Then I tried the test again and got Rivendell and Lothlorien and Mirkwood also. The test was accurate enough for me! I love Rivendell, Mirkwood, Lothlorien, and Ithilien. If I could choose any place in ME to live, it'd be one of those choices!

No need to worry, dearest BW. I haven't seen any other Location Finder out there, but there are all sorts of tests, some better than others. Some LONGER than others. The last one I tried contained 61 questions!!! Halfway through it, I had nearly forgotten what it was all about. Not much fun in that. And now I'll go back home to my mountain... Yes, I think Lush was referring generally to the myriad of tests out there, not location finders specificly. I haven't seen anything like this, and I take every LotR test I can find. (I'm terrible, I've learned how to slant most of them. ) See you in Ithilien, B-W! Warmer climes appeal to you too, eh?

Well, I got Rivendell, Hobbiton, and Bree. So I figure I am a hobbit that lives in Hobbiton, goes to bree to stay at the prancing pony on my frequent visits to Rivendell which serves me much like a summer home. ah, what a beautiful life. Gwindor

Looks like I'm packing my bags and moving to Rivendell along with everyone else. And if Rivendell doesn't work out, I could always go to Bree or Hobbiton! I thought this test was pretty accurate considering that I've always wanted to live in Rivendell.
