Having had my car volunteered, I suppose I should speak up [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

As Belin says, the Bay Area is not prohibitively far (about two hours), though I'd prefer someplace like Fairfield for ease of navigation, rather than go all the way into San Francisco or Oakland.
