I rate 1's if someone does something such as use the forum to promote their own site as opposed to the Downs. Don't laugh, it's happened. I was disappointed to find there was no zero. Otherwise I rate 5's.

Whenever someone begs me to rate them, or complains about their rating, I restrain myself from rating them. I really try not to make decisions when I'm annoyed, I'm not likely to be nice or fair...

I was down-rated once (deservedly) when I was a little sharp with Cimmerian. What I think is funny is I was down-rated when I out of town for a month. Now that's arbitrary. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
