It is not as if the idea of polls is evil , just the application, seemingly, can be an aesthetic challenge for those new to the disincarnate state.
I still favor having them in a forum of their own. I suppose they could be put to good use, such as "what version of the Silmarillion Canon do you favor?" one day ,maybe<img src=smile.gif ALT="
