I could do [suggest] but no other, the polls were [to my mind] clearly effecting the quality of the downs primary discussion board.


And after the reply to my 'should all threads be polls ?'was pretty much negative I think BW had already stated what the result would be . I was just nudging a wee bit<img src=smile.gif ALT=""> .

It is not as if the idea of polls is evil , just the application, seemingly, can be an aesthetic challenge for those new to the disincarnate state.
I still favor having them in a forum of their own. I suppose they could be put to good use, such as &quot;what version of the Silmarillion Canon do you favor?&quot; one day ,maybe<img src=smile.gif ALT="">
