how come in my copies of the Redwall books his name is spelled Matthias

Yeah, Matthias is his name, but I just didn't say anything. I figured maybe archer was from a different country or something and the name was spelled different there (or something like that). Or maybe archer is combining the name Matthias and the name of his son, Mattimeo.
