About the Orc-Elf thing, when Morgoth mutilated the elves( [img]smilies/mad.gif[/img] ) all of their beauty and majesty and all the things that distinguished them as elves went out the window, so if imortality is also an Elvish trademark then perhaps that went bye-byes as well (?)
