Malbeth is a lot more use in my opinion. Let's compare his prediction for me this month with that from astrologyguide.com.

Astrologyguide says

You are going to find yourself in a situation this month with only two choices. If you make the wrong one you'll find yourself betrayed and hurt by the end of the month. You CAN make the correct one but it's exactly the opposite of what you would have done in the past. I know all you want is justice for yourself but there's a right way and a wrong way. Look hard at the old way and then choose the diametrically opposed way! This is the only way to stop the pain you will experience later on. Don't worry about money. That will take care of itself, just worry about the choice itself.

No relevance there, although the month does have eight days left in which to present me with a decision more taxing than whether to order Chinese or Indian food.

Malbeth the Seer, on the other hand, says

In the dark of the night, the noises you hear are Dúnedain conquering a small Ent.

Well I haven't been sleeping much this month, and I have mentioned Ents this week. Therefore Malbeth is more relevant. He even divined that I hear sounds at night, although I'd always assumed that it was the traffic on Oxford Road.

I shall, however, stand corrected in my assumption that astrology has no relevance to Tolkien's romances if anyone can produce astrological charts for Aragorn and Arwen drawn up by the Professor himself.
