The Battle of Bywater ?
and by the way, the battle between Gandalf and the Balrog lasts from January 15 where they both fall from the destruction of the bridge. They enter the summit of Zirak-Zigil on January 23 and on the 25th Gandalf casts down his foe. (All dates from The Tale of Years in the appendix) So the Battle in question in very specific and has a name: The Battle of the Peak

The sun shone fiercely there, but all below was wrapped in cloud. Out he sprang, and even as I came behind, he burst into new flame. There was none to see, or perhaps in after ages songs would still be sung of the Battle of the Peak.
