Sensation! Hookbill's best-kept secrets uncovered at last! (well, some of 'em...)
The entire corpus of Fungo(l)tch unt Shcmurt (1) put through the Bad Translator. With annotations.
National A service joke tromlost hulkunun fungottsh comedian cord.(2) Shcmurt: Also? Fungoltch: No data loss. (3) Shcmurt: Mourshput! List of military base Palace!(4) Fungoltch: Fundolttsh. Shcmurt: Molttsh! Fungoltch: Uncircumcised by.(5) Auctorial comment: Mourslimopt! Justimgittsh! Hsm forget! Shcmurt: Gulmufts much more! Fungoltch: Forest five - crack!(6) Shcmurt: Olgrulp! Fungoltch: Neck-surgery. Shcmurt: Molttsh! Fungoltch: Uncircumcised by.(7) Auctorial comment: Czech Ha!(8) Optomigrast fungottsh fish; Ninth! National University of Singapore shkmurt lol just type!(9) Shcmurt: Gmfust mijuop, Crocodiles?10) Fungoltch: Mourshkt. - - Shcmurt: What about you? Fungoltch: 4. Phantom: Molduttsh! Alien: Gimifril. Auctorial comment: Seen.(11) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (1) except for the dialogue from the P&A special on April 1st, which came through unchanged. (2) jokes harping on a comedian cord - we understood that much, I think; but what's up with the National A service? (3) nothing lost in translation here, obviously. (4) classified security-relevant information, therefore rightly encrypted. (5) hmmm... this is still somewhat cryptic at this point, but there's more clues to come. (6) for the philologists: 'forest' came from 'gümpt' via 'Forrest Gump'. (7) uncircumcised by neck surgery - is this what he's trying to tell us? (8) clearly an inside joke about Legate. (9) so it seems Fungoltch learnt chat speak in his typing course at the National University of Singapore, right? I'd never have guessed that... (10) Rudyard the Crocodile? Another eye-opener... (11) original: "It's not racist." One of the intermediate versions was "This is not a career". P.S. Yes, I do have a life, thank you. Just not at the moment.

Lovely! And I can now boast about being mentioned in relation to Fungoltch and Shcmurt - honestly, that's one of the great things I would really value in my life!

(Speaking of 'proper fungoltchish': unfortunately, I haven't yet found out how to properly enter/copy all those diacritics/special phonetic? signs into the Translator, which is probably why half of the dialogue went through untranslated... but maybe further speculations on this matter are better postponed till the weekend...)

I say!
Quite an appropriate use for the bad translator, Pitch Tombadillo. I commend your initiative.

I second Oddwen! That was the perfect use of said translator. I commend your achievement, Pitchwife!
