Apparently. Actually, I assume this is some explanation or clarification of the snake-like appearance - effectively, any circumcision on such a body would be effectively a neck-surgery.

That is actually somewhat worrisome. Because - doesn't it imply the possibility that the language Fungoltch is using is actually a sort of chat slang, therefore making it even harder to undestand it, as the "proper fungoltchish" would be still somewhat different?

Possibly, yes - and that could also explain the communication problems between him (her? it?) and Shcmurt.

(Speaking of 'proper fungoltchish': unfortunately, I haven't yet found out how to properly enter/copy all those diacritics/special phonetic? signs into the Translator, which is probably why half of the dialogue went through untranslated... but maybe further speculations on this matter are better postponed till the weekend...)
