Hi,
Greetings to ya! No doubt I am going to make many mistakes because I am new to online crowding (surprisingly we had no Internet where I come from).
I like the look of this Forum and am glad that you accepted me as a new member.
Lord of the rings is amazing, and I am a great fan of all the Tolkien books (especially The Silmarillion and the Hobbit) as well the films and the whole lot of Merchandise (luv the Action figures).
My Hobbies are reading, writing, making Music (piano, guitar and the harp), customizing models, gardening and collecting weather data from 30 years ago (I´ve got a nice collection of cumulus clouds).
Well there is actually Little else that might interest you, except that I am working as a freelancer and I am quiet good at cooking (in case we should ever meet as friends).

Hello all! I'm new here. I have a question. How do you get the avatars to download? I tried putting one in, but it said the URL wasn't right, even though it was a jpeg.
I usually hang around at tolkienonline, but this place looked fun, too, so I decided to give it a try.

I love everything to do with lotr, but particularly elves, as I think they're so interesting and magical and I think Galadriel is the most interesting elf i've ever heard of!

Welcome everyone. If your question still wasn't asked satisfactorily, Nuindacilien, ask one of the mods, like Estelyn Telcontar. It probably was, because Immy usually knows what she's doing, but just in case.

Or you could try downloading the jpg to the net. I use www.villagephotos.com, but that's because I don't know anywhere better.

Greetings fellow Tolkien fans, I have been looking around the Barrow Downs now for some weeks and finally decided to join.

I have been reading Tolkien’s works for around 20 years now and in that time I have built up a nice collection of books based on Middle Earth. I have an extensive library starting with my favourites the Sil, hobbit, LOTR, HoMe; I also have many books written by other authors on Tolkien works. I hope that over time I can share my love of Tolkien with you all.

I'm not a newcomer to this site, but I am to the forums. I am a devoted fan to Tolkien. I am fascinated with lotr weaponry, and have been reading about it for about three years.

I am a fan of poetry also. I've read a bit of Shakespeare, but not a lot. My favorite play is A Midsummer Night's Dream. I detest anime.

I like gaming and art. I am an ametuer graphic design artist and have been interested in graphic design for about a year. I am fascinated with Celtic culture. Anywho, I love this sight and shall post here every day until the day I die (I hope).

Greetings all.

I came across this site a while ago, but sort of forgot to register.

Anyway, came across it again a few days ago and I have been reading some very interesting discussions, especially in the chapter by chapter section.

I've only been into Tolkien for about two years but the depth of the mans imagination and writing style amazes me.

Other interests include vintage scooters, music of most varieties, the seas and oceans - marine life etc, British comedy and possibly some other things that escape me at the moment.

I look forward to my stay here.

Other interests include vintage scooters, music of most varieties, the seas and oceans - marine life etc, British comedy and possibly some other things that escape me at the moment.
