Lord of Angmar has just left Hobbiton.
Sting

I have just finished viewing the Two Towers Extended Edition for the very first time, and let me just say that I was quite impressed. It reminded me much more of the book as I watched it than did the theatrical version. I was particularly moved by the additional footage of Eomer at the beginning.
I have been a firm critic of Peter Jackson's portrayal of Faramir in the theatrical release, but I would like to point out that my view has softened with the release of the Extended Edition and the flashback footage of Boromir and Faramir.
I really wish I could get into in-depth analysis of each scene, but I am far too tired after having sat in front of the tele for a few too many hours of the night. I shall post again with more coherent observations in the near future.
Cheers,
Angmar
