You remind me of a point I wanted to bring up here: Habarad
does die on the Fields of Pelennor - was this an example of foresight, or simply pessimism that proved true? If it was the former then it shows amazing courage to go forward with Aragorn. I suspect this was a case of foresight, as why else would Tolkien put that scene in?
