That's me! I have a section for LOTR things, a section for Barrowdowns things, a humor section which contains mostly LOTR humor, and a section for my favorite LOTR character (*coughcough*Sam*coughcough*).

You no longer get strange looks from your best friend when you say random things involving LotR.

Ah, yes, one has made progress if one no longer receives strange looks. Although for some of us that stage is probably not that hard to reach.
I thought of a few more things I've done, so what could I do but share them with you all?
-When you notice little things written in Tengwar (done by other LOTR freaks), and you translate it. Response: "You can read that?!?" (I knew a guy who haad this necklace thingie that he carved
elendili into, and so of course when I translate and we start to discuss the two meanings of the word, we get a couple of weird looks, "not agains", and "come ons" from the other people at our play practice).
-When you spend half an hour or so figuring out the characteristics of the
an thennath poetic form, and write it all out as if doing a poetic analysis, instead of doing your homework (proof that anything is fun as long as it has to do with LOTR: I don't like doing poetic analysis. I liked doing this. Or perhaps it also has something to do with the fact that the only poem in
an thennath that I know of is the poem about Luthien in FOTR).
There! Were those long enough?
