The Oath of Baldor by Lady Aerin, First posted December 8, 2004
It seems that the Rohirrim were a popular subject of stories posted by our members. This tale expands upon a few brief references found in LoTR and tells the story of the final days of Baldor, who rashly braved the Paths of the Dead.

That was pretty good (though I kept getting thrown off by the apparent appearance of Harding of the Hill a few centuries early

The Oath of Baldor was quite a pleasant read. Reminded me of a DnD (2nd Ed.) game my ex brother-in-law GM'd about exploring the Paths of the Dead. Baldor's snippet in the books was always fascinating.
