Can you say what the password and the theme are now?

Pervinca Took 06-25-2019 03:30 PM

Does FEDHIN mean hero, or something?

Is it First Age heroes?

Pervinca Took 06-25-2019 03:33 PM

"fedhin*

"adjective.*ally, friend, bound by agreement, bound by agreement, ally, friend, friend, ally"

Ah, ok.

Are they pairs of allies ... pairs bound by an agreement of friendship?

Not pairs, trios.

Urwen 06-25-2019 03:56 PM

I wanted to use Finrod and Beren in a password cos I had their awesome dynamic in mind for quite a while now, but no word fit, until I found Fedhin. :smokin:

Pervinca Took 06-25-2019 04:16 PM

Great idea!

Tell me who the trios are. I'm not as good as you on the First Age.

New password tomorrow. It's at work.

Urwen 06-25-2019 04:19 PM

Finrod+Beren+Edrahil, and Hurin+Huor+Turgon

Urwen 06-25-2019 04:27 PM

But.....are you always at work? You were at work when it was morning for me, and you're at work when it is evening for me, which is kinda weird, since most jobs have only one shift..... Is there a time when you're not at work?

Pervinca Took 06-25-2019 11:41 PM

No. I solved your password at home, but my two prepared passwords are on my laptop, and *that* is at work, in my cupboard. I take it in at the beginning of the week, and bring it home at the end. Because I need it at work but don't want to carry it home every day.

Pervinca Took 06-26-2019 02:03 AM

Urwen 06-26-2019 03:43 AM

For 1, are we looking for a particular species of fish or just a synonym for fish?

No. You need synonyms.

One of the thin ones is right.
Mug is wrong.

Urwen 06-27-2019 01:27 PM

Theme is the places unseen/unvisited by people in brackets.

Urwen 06-27-2019 01:57 PM

I looked, and nothing seems to fit both words.....
