I like Valier's, somehow (don't ask) it reminds me of Judas Priest

I had a good chuckle over alatar's Location, Location. Those with some knowledge of the real estate business will recall the slogan, "Location, Location, Location." Particularly appropriate for a wandering wizard.

Of course you're right, Fea, it's Metallica. (the soon-to-be evergreen Enter Sandman, for all the elders who don't know it) Thanks for the praise! I don't think I have ever been called cool before. I have the idea to use song quotes that sound somewhat escapist as locations, my last one being "in a field of paper flowers" from Evanescence's "Imaginary". I believe, unless my memory is leading me falsely, that you had a similar one as your location some time ago, too. |

I must say I'm fond of Hookbill's. "A 'Grave' new world"

Either Shakespeare or Aldous Huxley.
EDIT: Hookbill, I just realized the r and the o are switched in your location... making it "A 'Grave' new Wrold". Was that intentional?

No, Gothmog, it's not iron maiden. It's a quite obscure 70-80s band called the Strawbs who had an album called A Grave new World.

Interesting! Obscurity is always fun.
On topic, I must agree with Thinlómien. Oddwen's "On the other hand" is excellent.

It's new-ish.
Yeah I just rediscovered Evanescence so I thought I'd put it in. I keep meaning to mention Hookbill's location though: Quote:

It's very similar to a quote from The Mummy, but I don't know if you've seen that.

aww, thanks Thin!
I'd been listening to a lot of Lady of Shalott which lead to Lancelot referances... Which lead to the Castle Anthrax...

Do quote them, please, Volo, if it's not too much to ask. Locations tend to be changed a lot, and if someone reads back through this thread he won't know to what location you were referring.

I find it quite funny that ninja91 wants to move to Britian, I want to emigrate and get out of there as soon as possible preferably to Australia

I'm not sure what Michigan weather is like but British weather can be described in two words, cold and damp. Alas, expectations hardly ever meet reality, I guess Oz won't be the endless holiday I imagine it to be. There is plenty of history in Britian though old buildings and whatnot that's if Tesco hasn't knocked them all down for car parks yet...

or better yet, come to Alberta where the weather always changes
sunny one day, next day snowfall, day after that sunny, day after that rain

Michigan has four seasons:
Early winter Mid winter Late winter Next winter Or: If you don't like the weather in (insert location here), just wait five minutes. On topic! I get a giggle out of Thy Gil-Galad's location. It maketh me to want to get yon FLASK in the worst way. Quote:
