Alliterative verse!
I couldn't find another topic like this anywhere, so here it is:
Starting at A, we go thorugh the alphabet making up sentences using primarily only that letter to start a word. The sentences should make sense, too. I'll start: Aragorn always ate artichokes around the Argonath.

Merry meandered many more Mondays, meeting many mischievous men making mostly mauve monkeys.

This is one of those 'list' topics where everyone just adds to the list. Normally I would close it, but I will allow this one to remain open if the next few entries actually adhere to the books of JRRT.
Bad: 'Aragorn ate artichokes' Worse: 'Bilbo Baggins bravely bounced to Bag End using bean bags' Very good: 'Cruel Caradhras caused crushing cold challenges, cancelling carefully considered course' Make your next efforts very good.

I agree! This could be really fun and mentally stimulating if the alliteratives (word? ) are descriptive and true to Middle earth, reasonably serious , and pure. (no extra words with other letters) Great practice for you budding writers out there!
The letter "I"! Hmmm, Oh Saucepan man!

Palantir persuades patrician position's pointless, provoking paternal pyromaniac plan. Perceiving Pater's plot, Pippin purposefully participates, preserving Prince's prolonged presence. Pelennor people praise Perrianath.

A few comments on alliteration, with props to burrahobbit for bringing it to our attention.
alliteration: The repetition of the same sounds or of the same kinds of sounds at the beginning of words or in stressed syllables, as in on scrolls of silver snowy sentences (Hart Crane). Modern alliteration is predominantly consonantal; certain literary traditions, such as Old English verse, also alliterate using vowel sounds. The repetition is the sound, not the letter, so 'only one' is not alliteration. The Saucepan Man: Excellent!!!!! short guy: See comment about sounds. Meela: Huh? They have to make sense and fit something from the books!

Simple Samwise saw Shelob shaft Shorty, so Sam shook Sting, saying, "Stupid spider! Sam shall stab shiny sword straight, skewering Shelob stunningly." Stupendously, Samwise stabbed seething Shelob, sending Shelob screeching south, suffering sadly. So selfless Samwise saved Shorty.

O cruel, accurséd canine Carcharoth,
by captain caged, his crown with crystal clear in catacombic castle close to keep; she came, concealed with cloak of cloudy cloth, the crystal claiming with companion dear, which, cut from crown and clutched, doth carnage reap, consumes in cancerous captivity the creature, crazed to cruel calamity. Dour, desperate dwarves drink draughts, demand dinner, disturbing dutiful dugout dweller. Dishes disappear during ditty. Dwarves decide dark deeds demanded during dulcet dirge describing dragon's disturbance. Dour dwarves denounce dragon, declaring duty dictates dragon's disappearance. Dwarves discourse dragon's disengagement, delightfully defiant. Dugout dweller discovers daring dignity, dumbly decreeing danger desired. Dugout dweller's dreams disturbing, destiny descends.

{Okay, so it isn't all that great alliteration nor does it go with the flow of the book, but this thread needed reviving, and I was writing it quickly. }

Okay, so it's from the Silm. It's still Middle-Earth. I just read that part and had to use it. You know...Fėanor pushes his sword up to his half-brother and tells him not to try and "Take his place" in his father's heart... ...Just felt like explaning... Jeez, I need friends. Green-gray goblins grabbed Greycloak's group. Groping, Greycloak's group gradually grieved.
"Ghastly goblin-halls!," "Great grim gloom!," Gloin gabbed goobledy-gook. Gandalf got geared-up: gave glamorous, glaring glow. Golden Gondolinian goblin-grater Glamdring glimmered; Goblin-cleaver glistened. Goblins gawked. "Gulp!," Goblins gagged. Grave gaped; Glamdring gave gaping grave green-gray goblins. House of Hurin, a house ill-fated. High in honor, hard and hale, cursed by Bauglir whom they hated, hid from oath to no avail. Hunted, hounded hard-heartedly, Hurin hurled in Hells of Iron. Held and hidden, hated horribly, hunkered in a house of hell. His house in ruin, he was set free. He held a hike to Hidden Vale. Harsh hills he found, no heed or help from hidden valley or hidden king.
