I can't think of a better question, so: how much did Mr. Buttercor pay for Merry's ponys?

Hmm I let this one rest while I too slept (CET) but I think we have to get on :-)
30 silver pennies for Merrys horses (then they payed I think 12 or 15 for Bill and I mean the Pony).

OK, The One: Sauron, Isilder, Deagol, Smeagol, Bilbo, Frodo, Sam.

The Three: Celebrimbor, Gil-galad, Cirdan, Gandalf, Galadriel, Elrond.

Don't think I would count Deagol as a ringbearer, although he owned the ring for several minutes I dont think her ever put it on his finger.

But otherwise perfect - Ask us Beregond!

What did Thingol give to the dwarves of Belegost in exchange for helping him to build Menegroth?

Well, it was pearls, that Thingol got from Crida, that he then gave to the dwarves for their aid in building the thousand caves. There was indeed one (if it had a name I forgot) the sieze of a doves egg that the dwarves put into the Nauglamir, the necklace of the dwarves.

Cheers Telchar

Correct Beregond.

Any among: River Gladden, River Silverlode, River Limlight, River Entwash, River Erui, River Sirith and River Poros + some rivers north of the River Gladden, that are not named on the smallscale map I have available.

The River Nimrodel is incorrect because it joins The River Silverlode before joining with the Anduin.

You are up Beregond :-)

Lake?

Ok, What is the name of the lake that the River Brandywine flows into and what is the name of the Arnor tower with a Palantir in it?
I know it's two but I couldn't think of a really good question

Lake Evendim, and Amon Sul? The Brandywine flows INTO the sea, but Lake Evendim must be what you mean.

I noticed my mistake, but I don't know how to edit my posts so i had to leave it
The first part of your answer is correct, but the second part is not.
Or atleast I think not.

Actually, the chief Palantir of the north kingdom was kept on Amol Sul (Weathertop). Which one were you thinking of?

Im pretty sure Drew thinks of the last of the northern palantiri, the one that was not in accord with the others - it was in Elostirion, the tallest of the white towers.
The question is still good - it was the only stone present in the north ant the of the WOTR.

I have a comment on the River Celduin + Carnen question/awnser ... well if you want Carnen (Redwater) included you must also include the Forrest River I think.

True I didn't think of that. And I didn't know of Elostirion.

Actually Drew its a good point that the Forrest River and The River Running is the same... I never thought of that, just strange then why the name changes? But I'll try to investigate it - Thanks for pointing it out.

I Think I'll just keep the topic of rivers and streams...

Q: What river was the longest in Beleriand?
