there are currently 4 sections of DoV/rape of the Silmarills left to draft.

SECTION 5---[X 59-59b]-- DoV and the response of the valar

SECTION 6 THE RAPE OF THE SILMARILS [see notes for using Annals of
Aman [X] for source text in places]

HoME X 1-- the lamentation of the valinoreans

SECTION 7
HoME X 2-6 -- feanor and the valar

SECTION 8
HoME X 7-12 -- the telling of the death of finwe

are any of these sections something you want to work on in the forseeable future?

Re: Mithadan,Gwaihir and Durelen

I am looking through HoME X right now, and I can't decide which would be better for me to do, so I am going to wait and see if Gwaihir and Mithadan pick something, if not, then I guess I am kinda leaning towards Sect. 6 RotS.

Thus even as Eru spoke to us shall beauty not before conceived be brought into Eä, and evil be good to have been.</p>

Re: Annals

I am kind of busy at the moment; but reserve number 8 for me. I'll have it ready in a few weeks.

Light at the end of the tunnel

Sounds great. Mithadan seems to be on a leave of absence for work or family , I have not even seen him in the Books so I would suggest Durelen to go ahead and grab a section. I will follow w/ whatever is left if we don'ft hear from M. ina week 0r 2 .
