And I draw, too!

I did these about a month ago for a contest at CoE. I won honorable mention.

Gotta love Bombur!

This one, for whatever reason, didn't get submitted. Alas. Alack.

Where's Pallando?

I can never remember the name of the other Blue Wizard. Alatariel? Hmm.

These things rock!! You guys are so creative! I loved the POTC/LOTR crossover! Poor Leggy! And "Greedy Little Elf" made me crack up!

Hehe. I just came across this picture that I drew when I was about 12, and couldn't resist posting it here.
Note how I anticipated the current wave (pun intended) of 'Legolas hair' jokes by about 25 years.

Hah! That's incredibly funny, Sauce. Uber-hairy-chin-man Aragorn, silly wizard Gandy, piggy boozer Sam, Viking Boromir, nancy Legolas, creepy little Frodo, vicious Gimli... and Merry and Pippin. And do I spy the odd coffee stain? Confound the ten-rep rule.

Seems like you were an... interesting child.

Why thank you folks. My 12 year old self is flattered.

The ravages of time have taken their toll on the picture (not to mention the artist ).

If you call reading a lot of fantasy literature, playing a lot of fantasy role-playing games and drawing a lot of pictures inspired by the two of them interesting, then perhaps I was. Although I recall that many of my classmates took a different view ...

I have a feeling that this one was inspired more by Bored of the Rings than LotR, although it is a similarly long time since I have read that book.

I like the childhood study of Treebeard, Sapphire_Flame.

i made this when the whole "disco king" was totally new and you had to be an ultimate fan girl to use it...

Hope you enjoy. It was made on an Adobe Photoshop format...for those inclined in digital art...

Note: you might have to save this then enlarge it to read the text on the top and bottom...

I wanted to post these little pics here. I originally did them for another website. We were supposed to use online pictures and the Paint program to create crossovers between LOTR, Star Wars, the Matrix, and Pirates of the Carribbean. Here's what I came up with.

Lothlorien Reloaded

Hmmm...

Sam's Choice

What a pleasant pastime in the evening to browse such amusing pics! I especially like the authentic coffee stains on Saucepan's rather interesting comic drawing! I figure this is the very place to insert a photomanipulation (composite) I did a few months ago and forgot about until now...

Cheers!

Silmaril Long live Target.

Here is something I drew a while ago, based on a part from The Two Towers, when Gandlaf and Co. rode out of Fangorn on their way to Isengard, but Legolas saw something back in the trees... :

Wal-Mart is the Mordor...

" One does not simply walk into Wal-Mart..." <---- Wonderfully said Boromir...

Besides, Mordor wasn't Sam's Choice (Their line of food products)... Stupid Wal-Mart! gahh! (Does horrible Gollum impression)

Ok, more pictures! and all are wonderful that i've seen so far! You are all wonderfully talented!

*grins innocently* Yeah-- I've gotta make Padmé E. join BD, eh, Maeg, and she can justify that statement. Because THAT WASN'T MY IDEA.

*ahem*

Strange....I couldn't find a more recent thread filled with funny pictures. If anyone else knows of one, feel free to post a link.

Anyways, I was shopping in Harvard Square tonight when I came across this interesting button. Of course, I bought it....

Ahh, finally! A place for my insane (and, let's face it, ludicrously bad) artwork to go.

I've made a picture depicting the real conversation between Frodo and Gandalf the morning before the beginning of the Chapter "The Shadow of the Past".

It'll probably make you feel ill. Viewer discretion is advised.

I believe this is the one Esty bought during her "adventure" down to Texas. My sister also has it... Very neat pin! (And a popular choice!)

It isn't extremely funny, but I had some free time today and found myself itching to draw Boromir.

Its explained in the image descriptions: here
