Congratulations

Couldn't happen to a better board. BTW, see Silmarillion board for my real opinion about Barrow Downs.

re:5000 posts

id like to say that im really proud and glad to be a "part of the family" so to say. i really enjoy posting here (and doing the trivia in the chat-room )
im sorry that i didnt post very much lately but i had my summer holidays and wasnt at home very often.
but now school has startet again ( ) and i think ill be here everyday.
and MR.Barrow-wight i hope that ill find the time to finish the poem i started in early july, but i really havent had the time to work on it in the last two months.
let's keep this forum going- we'll reach the 10000-posts-mark easily!

Actually, the 10,000 post mark came and went a long time ago.

In fact, we are approaching 350,000 posts! It's hard to imagine that this forum has become so huge in just 5 short years (not saying I've been here the whole time, because I haven't). Truly this site must offer that special something to have gained such a large group of participants. It's nice to look back at this older thread and see how far we have come since it was posted.

On a side note, the above posts were made exactly 5 years ago(within a day). Only the longest dead of us were around at that time. All those who have; congrats on your marvelous contributions!
