It was such a shame to lose Boromir the Disco King... maybe he'll make a comeback thanks to this.

Firefoot has been trapped in the Barrow!
Gratias tibi ago.

I'm not sure how long it will last, though. It was mostly a spontaneous change after getting rather tired of my previous sig. Something werewolf-related, easily translated into Latin, and slightly random.

I feel like I've heard this song before, but I cant think what is or who it's by. It feels either Pink Floyd or A Perfect Circle-ish. What is it, Kit?

Right, that was going to be my third guess. (Not. ) Hmmm... wonder why it seemed so familiar, as I haven't seen/heard Jesus Christ Superstar.

It's from REM's Losing my Religion if I'm not mistaken. I love that song so much. I had been listening to it shortly before seeing Mith's signature and it was annoying me so much I couldn't figure out where I had seen that quote before. So, I broke down and looked it up. Very nice Mith, very nice indeed.

Very true - I just happened to see a programme about REM and how "Losing my Religion" meant losing your temper .. I too have always liked the song but now it makes more sense

And it was a nice vaguely creepy (though random) tagline for werewolf....

Beautiful and mysterious! It must be new because I'm sure it would have caught my eye before today otherwise.... It prompted me to Google and find out where it was from, and I found this, the whole thing.

Lovely.

Actually, my dictionary gave me continenter as consecutively. Referencing WWJ VI where the three wolves were killed in the first three days. It feels extremely braggish though, and I'm going to change it here soon to something else (probably also in Latin...) But thank you.

It is simply a follow up to one of my earlyier signatures: You should know better than to pick up a duck in a dungeon. Never pick up a duck in a dungeon!

These are of course reffering to the brilliant game of Munchkin and from this moment forth the downs own Duck of Doom, Diamond18!

But surely "Eidolon" means "duck of doom" in the dialect of Sindarin prevalent in Harlindon early in the second age?

Actually, Mith, it's derived from the Latin.

I just noticed Oddwen's

Quote:
I was like Santa in Bizarro World. With black hair, a surly disposition, no beard and no regrets, I knocked one of those annoying cell-phone-talker guys to the ground and stole his presents, all the while yelling, "Ho! Ho! KICK!"
Perfect! I especially like this because I work in a library, and even though no cell phones are allowed in said library, day in and day out people walk around yammering on cellphones, or you'll hear louds ring tones going off, or they'll actually stand at the desk and yak on the phone while you're trying to talk to them. I think very, very dark thoughts about these people.

Never mind the horrible ponderings that first occur to one's mind when they hear "defenestrated". It sounds a good deal more terrifying, like it means the loss of part of someone's anatomy...
