Re: The Trivia Quiz

May I still change one of my answers?

The answer to question number 9 is:
Radhruin, Hathaldir and Urthel were companions of Barahir and Beren, while Hador Lorindol was a clan-leader from earlier times.

Re: The Trivia Quiz

80% correct.

As the question number 9 is somewhat tricky, I'll let you know that the right answer to it is not Saruman. I'm not sure if he ever did anything with his ring, but at least he himself considered it to be of some importance - before capturing Gandalf, he boasted that he was Saruman the Ring-maker.
(I admit, the question is a bit far-fetched...)

Re: The Trivia Quiz

OK - That I have to go with Anarion - I have never heard hem mentioned in connection with a ring. - Beren and Valandil both held the Ring of Barahir - So they are out - The reason I answered Saruman was that I at least knew that his ring was only important to himself

So if that adds up to 90% - is that OK??? and where is my other error? Im uncertain about quite a few of my answers - Hoommm Hummm, I was being hasty - to your otherwise very good questions.

Re: The Trivia Quiz

Yep Telchar, Anarion is the one I was looking for. Your answers 90% correct now and you may ask the next questions.
And you're quite right about Saruman's ring as well

Your other error was the Balrog-name:
Murazor - the name of the Witch-King, according to the creators of the Middle-Earth role-playing game. The name does not appear in Tolkien's works, and was invented by the MERP-people.
Muar - the name of the Balrog of Moria, in MERP. Again, the name is not found Tolkien's works.
Khamul - this is a name of a Ringwraith. It can be found in Unfinished Tales.
Lungorthin - the right answer. The name is mentioned in the Lay of the Children of Hurin, which was written in the end of the 20s and can be found in The Lays of Beleriand (HoME III).
